Chelmer Foods have a service agreement with MSC, one of the world's largest shipping lines, providing preferential rates due to our volume of shipments. The agreement allows us to easily manage our containers (with assistance of our Freight Forwarder) ensuring clean, problem free logistics traceable from the factory to our customer's door.

Chelmer Foods moves more than 2000 containers a year; this equates to about 8 containers or over 150 metric tonnes of dried fruits or nuts every single working day.

Our Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance agent, R Bugg Forwarding, provide us with worldwide import and export supply chain services. Formed in 1982, R Bugg have created a reputation for service excellence over the last 30 years particularly in handling all forms of food cargo.

They take care of our UK customs clearance with direct connections to all major UK ports, port health and import taxation requirements and transport management of full container and groupage cargo.
