ÖZGÜR TARIM A.S. is a leading exporter of Dried Turkish Vine Fruits. The owners of the business, the Özgür Family, have been in the business for the past 20 years, first as traders and then, after many years, as processors and packers. In 2003, they implemented a major investment programme, and built a brand new factory in the heart of the largest growing area at Saruhanli, approximately an hour's drive from Izmir.

The new factory has been built to the very highest standards that you would expect from a modern food processing facility. Moreover, Özgür are now accredited to both HACCP and BRC Version 5 and they are proud of the fact that they have been awarded 'approved-supplier' status by many of the largest food manufacturers across Europe.

Özgür Tarim sources their material directly from growers that they have worked with over many years. As part of their quality procedures, the factory has full control of the product from field to final delivery, within which they carry out physical, chemical and microbiological analyses at all of the required stages of the process. Their technical team is fully trained and updated in food processing procedures and controls as well as current legislative requirements.

Özgür can pack into any size from 250g to 15 kilos net. Retail packs are a regular part of their business.
