Turkish Apricot Harvest Report

As the Drying gets on the way for the Turkish 2019 Apricot crop, our attention is called to the firming price and forecasted volume. The Crop has been estimated at 85,000 MT for the Malataya regain but exceptions are at a total of 90,000 - 95,000 MT including neighboring provinces who are not included in early estimations.

Although most Crops are easing due to lack of demand and unease following the COVID-19 outbreak Apricot have firmed dramatically, following the expectation of a short crop with total 2020 consumption estimated around 105,000 MT, 8,000 MT domestic and 93,000 MT Export.
