Vietnamese Cashew Shipment Report figures - December 2021

December 2021 saw another low month of Cashews exported from Vietnam, than in comparison to December 2020. Vietnam imported less Indonesian Cashews due to high prices, and total imports totaled 3.1 million tons. This is an 81% increase on 2020. This assures the market that Vietnam has more than enough crop available to supply until local crops are available.

Testa Kernels saw an increase of 51% on importation into Vietnam, totaling 88,000MT of additional kernel availability that is being further transformed in Vietnam.

Despite shipments being down, a total of 50,000 tons of Cashews were exported in December 2021 and year on year is up by 16.85%, at a total of 609,000 Metric Tons.
